Here to kick off our first Working Mums Wednesday are some random handy household tips for all the mums out there-anything to make our lives easier!!
Handy Tip Number 1:So Cheezy-A great way to keep cheese fresher for longer in your fridge is to wrap it in Tin Foil, this will keep the mould away for longer!
Handy Tip Number 3: Reopening envelopes-We have all been there you seal the envelope and realise you have forgotten to put something inside, don't worry just stick the envelope in the freezer for an hour or two and voila the envelope will reseal without a trace!
Handy Tip Number 4:Hoover Hijinks-To suck up hard to reach gunk under your fridge or inbetween shelves or bookcases insert an empty kitchen towel role into the bottom of your hoover and bend of flatten it to squeeze it into the hidden spots!
or If you loose an earring or anything teeny tiny, place a sock around the base of your hoover and secure in place with an elastic band
Handy Tip Number 5:Bed linen-Store bed linen sets inside one of their own pillowcases, makes it so much easier, than trying to find mismatched pillowcases.
Handy Tip Number 6:Dinner Time: Use a wooden spoon and place it over a pot to prevent over boiling
Handy Tip Number 7: Strawberries-Who doesn't love strawberries but how sore is it trying to take the tops off with your nails and then you don't want to waste any by chopping off the top either. This is such a simple tip but could save you so much time. Use a straw and simple insert it from the bottom up..easy peasy!
Handy Tip Number 8:Drill Easy-Use a post It note to catch all the debris while drilling!Genius
Handy Tip Number 9: No Drip Icepops-picture speaks for itself-love it!! Why did I never think of this before!
Handy Tip Number 10:Space Saver- Hang your spray bottles in your cleaning press to save space.
