Salt Dough Toadstool

Salt Dough making & decorating is a fantastic craft to do with young children as the dough is non toxic because its just  made from flour, salt & water. The recipe and instructions can all be found on our blog here when we made the Pirate Name Plates. 
 
Kids love the feel of the dough and happily will mould and shape it for hours. Then once you bake the creations - they will permanently stay hard forever and are ready for painting.
 
To make this toadstool name plate just follow the photos below to help you mould the dough into shape, and then follow our instructions of how to bake your designs on a floured baking sheet in a low temperature oven for a few hours
