Shamrock Straw Toppers

If you are throwing a St Patrick’s Day party this year or just having a few friends and family over why not try your hand at making these simple shamrock straw toppers.

What you need:

Green card

Scissors

Pencil

Green Stripey Straws

Shamrock Template

Hole Puncher

Instructions

1)      You can try and draw a shamrock freehand but I found the best thing to do was print off a shamrock shape from the internet and use this as your stencil.

2)      Trace your shamrock shape out on the green card and cut out.

3)      Once you have your shamrock it’s a good idea to make little folds or creases along the centre of each leaf to make it look more 3d.

4)      Use your hole punch to punch a hole in the centre of your shamrock or a pencil will work fine too.

5)      Insert your straw into the shamrock and enjoy with a St Patrick’s Day drink!
