This is possibly the most fun I've ever had making something with my Son Harry who's now four. It brought me right back to my own childhood where I used to make pretend little shops in my front garden and try and sell my creations to the neighbors and their kids.Mummypages.ie asked me to make some original kids summercrafts as part of HB Ice cream's 'Quality Time, Quality Ice Cream' Campaign. My son had hours and hours of fun playing with this and still plays with it everyday. And here's how to make
it.
What you need:
Cardboard box x2
Sticky Tape
Toilet/Kitchen Roll Holders
Pretty paper/Old magazines/Old Wallpaper scraps
Pritt Stick
Instructions:
1)
Get
an old small box and tape it up as if there was something inside it.
2)
Stick
two kitchen roll holders together and stick onto the top of the box on one
side.
3)
Repeat
on the other side.
4)Cut
another cardboard box in half and cut the top with a scissors into an ice cream
parlour shape (semi-circles) amd stick onto of the kitchen roll holders in
place.
5)
Begin
gluing your paper/magazines etc.. to the cardboard. I used stripy paper sweet
bags.
6)
When
you have completely covered it leave to dry.
Anyone for some Ice Cream?
