With little explanation this craft involves finding some odd shaped rocks... round, oval or just odd shaped!!!
I painted mine white first as the rocks were quite coloured and my paints a little watery (because they are non toxic they are not as thick and the coverage isn't as good as regular acrylics) ... but you don't have to!
I used a variety of Halloween themes and colours of paint and where I needed fine detail I drew on the painted rocks in maker, pen & even used a typex pen to help me get some precision for the circular dots on the toadstool and eyes on my vampire and witch.
These rocks can then be used indoors - around the fireplace, on the windowsills or as Place Setters (see the 'Jack' toadstool above - you could make these for the whole family around the table).
...or outdoors - just put a coat of varnish over your dry artwork first which will seal the colours and designs from water and dampness. Once you can then line the driveway or porch or place them on outdoor windowsills or in plant pots.
Enjoy!
