Make It Monday-Potato Stamped T-Shirts

We all know how hard it is to entertain the kids during the summer holiday's especially with this beautiful weather that we have had in Ireland these last few weeks. Here's a simple craft idea you can make with little expense. I have tried it out with my son (2) and his cousin (4) and they loved it..but I think it's one of those crafts that kids any age would enjoy and it will fill at least an hour of the day!

What you need:

Large Potatoes

Cookie Cutter Shapes of your choice (I got mine in Anvil in Bray)

Paint

White T-shirts (Penney's €2.50 each)

Instructions:

1) Wash your spuds to make them nice and clean and to get rid of any muck.

2) Press the cookie cutter shape into your potato.Cut around the shape to get rid of any excess. I used a star and a heart and a teapot shape.

3) Pour your paint onto a plate and get stamping.

4) Allow to dry.
